Hello

Welcome to my blog. I share Brisbane thru my iPhone photos. Enjoy.

Brisbane CityHopper

Brisbane CityHopper

All aboard.  Have you been for a ride on the Brisbane City Council's free CityHopper?

The CityHopper ferry service allows you to discover Brisbane via her meandering Brisbane River for free, with ferries running regularly, approximately every 30 minutes, between 6am and midnight, seven days a week.

The little red and white vessels travel along the Brisbane River, stopping at North Quay, South Bank 3, Maritime Museum, Thornton Street, Eagle Street Pier, Holman Street, Dockside and Sydney Street terminals. If you like to feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face try to pick a seat on the top deck or at the back of the ferry.

As the CityHopper is free, you can hop on and hop off as often as you like taking in the Brisbane River and city sights along the way. This is a great activity to do with little ones when school holidays come around or perhaps to take overseas visitors on next time they visit Brisbane.

Visit Translink for current timetable information.

When was the last time you went for a ferry ride on the Brisbane River?
